Nurse Practitioner Medical Executive of Oncology & Genetic Risk

Our healthcare facility has a new full-time opportunity for an Advanced Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.  Our aesthetically beautiful facility specializes in full maintenance treatment of oncology services and empathetic care.  Our programs are conducted by highly experienced professionals using state-of-the art approaches for cancers.  We provide outstanding, personalized clinical care for individuals.

Your Next Position's Details:

• Full time, permanent
• M-F schedule in beautiful clinical setting
• Ensure high quality delivery of patient care and services
• Responsible for medical management review of patients with collaborating physician(s)
• Manage order medications, complete diagnostic studies, and therapeutic procedures related to patient illnesses and track results
• Assess individuals with clinical characteristics or features suggestive of cancer
• Provide risk assessments of genetic testing and counseling
• Communicate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate with supervising physician to develop protocols for redefining management of patient population and communicate plan of care
• Work with social workers, dietician, rehabilitation centers and outside programs to develop and promote programs for patients based on needs assessment
• Provides education and support to the patients and families
• Interact collaboratively with other providers
